The aim of the current work was to design a new low-pressure and efficient multi-poly (piperazine-amide) thin layer which each layer formed alternatively upon a polyester nonwoven backing without using a polymeric support (unlike usual thin film membranes which use an ultrafiltration support). A desired rejection toward CuSO4 and Congo red day was obtained about 80 and 97%, respectively.
