In 2009, I was honored to be selected by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to pursue a Master’s degree at the prestigious University of Leeds. This opportunity proved to be a transformative experience, both academically and personally.
Throughout my studies, I was consistently challenged and inspired by the rigorous curriculum and talented faculty. Despite facing occasional obstacles and bittersweet moments, I remained dedicated to making the most of this chance to advance my education. By drawing upon my passion, perseverance and the support of my mentors, I was able to successfully complete the program.
To this day, I am deeply grateful to UTM for entrusting me with this life-changing scholarship. The knowledge and skills I gained at the University of Leeds have been instrumental in shaping my academic and professional trajectory. The memories I carry from this period, whether joyful or difficult, have instilled in me a profound appreciation for the value of education and the importance of embracing challenges as opportunities for growth.
