{"id":1113,"date":"2016-10-12T18:45:41","date_gmt":"2016-10-12T10:45:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/people.utm.my\/hazinah\/?p=1113"},"modified":"2016-10-16T13:36:53","modified_gmt":"2016-10-16T05:36:53","slug":"scsr-freshman-seminar-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/hazinah\/2016\/10\/scsr-freshman-seminar-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"SCSR Freshman Seminar 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday 11 October, the department held a <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/cs\/scsr-freshman-seminar\/\" target=\"_blank\">seminar<\/a> for all the first year students of Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer Network and Security); affectionately called SCSR. In the seminar, the students are introduced to their Academic Advisor and our Task Force, which consists of <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/marinama\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marina<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/mazura\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mazura<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.utm.my\/zahilah\/\" target=\"_blank\">Raja Zahilah<\/a> and I, took the helm of organizing the event and the presentations.<\/p>\n<p>The students were mostly attentive and the atmosphere was casual and fun. We aimed to\u00a0give the students\u00a0some knowledge, insight and useful tips in uni-life survival, that they\u00a0can employ.\u00a0I do hope that the our objective of the program\u00a0was achieved, and all of us benefited greatly from it.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>I believe we all deserve a pat on the back.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-1
