I am always a little jittery before classes start. Weird, I know, because I have been teaching for a long time. Funnily enough, the jitters are always there. Right until I enter my first class of the semester, then it magically goes away.<\/p>\n<p>I have thought about this. I mean, I know what I am doing after all. If I were to guess why this happens, I&#8217;d say it is the anticipation of the &#8216;unknown&#8217;. The students, the atmosphere. Are they receptive? Rebellious? Callous? Spawn of Darth Vader?<\/p>\n<p>You cannot help but envision many, many different scenarios. I want my class to fun and educational and character building.
