She subsequently earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2009. Currently, she serves as a Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Her areas of research interest include Sensor Technology and Artificial Intelligence Systems. She has been actively involved in research and development, with a total of 72 intellectual property rights (IPR) filed, including patent filings and copyrights. She has received numerous awards for her inventions and innovations at both international and domestic research exhibitions. Additionally, she has published over 200 research articles in various international journals, conference proceedings, book chapters, and research monographs.
