UP-COMING COURSE

INTEGRATIVE STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY SYMPOSIUM AND WORKSHOPS 2017

Date : 2ND–3RD, 6TH–10TH OF MARCH 2017

Venue : MALAYSIA GENOME INSTITUTE

Descriptions:

Integrative Structural Biology combines various techniques such as X-ray Crystallography, Cryo-Electron Microscopy, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy, Small-angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) allied with various biophysical techniques such as Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) and Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectroscopy. The combinations of these techniques has made today’s discoveries even more powerful with greater impact of outcomes in various sectors such as health care, agriculture and food industries. Some striking examples include drug discoveries, disease cure, and enzymes that have been made valuable for industrial applications. This event will emphasize on utilizing the integration of the structural biology as well as biophysical techniques to expand your research findings.
