Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rafee Majid.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>JOHOR BAHRU, 21 December 2016 \u2013 Three best students of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (DURP), Faculty of Built Environment have received academic prizes during the first departmental meeting with the Academic Advisors for undergraduate programmes, recently.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony took place at the Convention Hall, B12, Faculty of Built Environment (FAB), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Johor Bahru campus.<\/p>\n<p>Josephine Lee Siaw Ling (Year 1-GPA 3.79, CGPA 3.89), Siti Nabila bt Mokhtar (Year 2-GPA 3.67, CGPA 3.70), and Tay Suet Yi (Year 3-GPA 4.00, CGPA 3.93) received their prizes from the Deputy Dean (Academic), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rafee Majid.<\/p>\n<p>The prizes comprising the Malaysian Institute of Planners, Planning Malaysia Special Issue IV-2016 Journal entitled \u201cTowards an Asian Urban Agenda : Planning Asian DiverCity, IntenseCity, ComplexCity &amp; AuthenticCity together with a certificate.<\/p>\n<p>Prizes for academic excellence for Semester 2, 2015\/2016 were also presented to respective students for each Year at the meeting.<br \/>\n[22:36, 12\/25\/2016]\u00a0Dr Abdullah:\u00a0Fourth:<br \/>\nJOHOR BAHRU, 18 December 2016 \u2013 The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has organised the 2016 International Conference on Electrical Electronics Communication and Control Engineering (ICEECC 2016).<\/p>\n<p>The two day conference was held at the Senate Hall and onsite at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.<br \/>\nThe General Chairman of ICEECC 2016, Prof. Dr. Mohamad Kamal A. Rahim, said that the conference was to provide an international platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research and developments in the subjects of electrical engineering.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmong the participants of ICEECC 2016 were from Nigeria, Indonesia and local institutions in Malaysia to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face.<br \/>\n\u201cThey also came here to establish business or research relationships and to find global partners for future collaboration,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nA total of 224 papers have been submitted but only 154 were accepted for oral presentation after the reviewing process.
