For the past 20 years, I have dedicated myself to creative and video production at UTM, navigating the challenges and changes that come with the field. While I take pride in the work I have accomplished, the time has come for me to seek new opportunities—opportunities that align more closely with my expertise and aspirations.
As we step into 2025, my goal is clear: I hope to transition to a new department, specifically the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Technology (FEST). This faculty holds a strong appeal for me, not only because of its well-equipped broadcast facilities but also because it aligns perfectly with my passion for high-quality media production in education. With access to tools like the Newtek Tricaster 2 Elite and professional broadcasting cameras, I see FEST as a place where my skills can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the university’s academic and technological growth.
The past years have shown me the importance of growth—not just in technical skills, but also in career development. Remaining in the same environment for two decades has its challenges, especially when opportunities for advancement are limited. I believe moving to FEST will not only allow me to work within a team that shares the same media-driven vision but also give me the professional satisfaction I have been longing for.
2025 is a year of hope and transformation. While the journey ahead is uncertain, I am ready to take the necessary steps toward this transition. I look forward to new challenges, new collaborations, and ultimately, a renewed sense of purpose in my career at UTM.
Here’s to a new chapter. Let’s make 2025 a year of progress and change!
