Johan bin Mohamad Sharif is a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) since 1997. Starting as a tutor and thereafter became a lecturer in 2000. In 2012, obtained a doctorate and later as a senior lecturer in 2013. In July 2016, he appointed as member of the Task Force First Year Experience (FYE). In 2017 to 2018, as a web editor for UTM FC Proceedings and joining special task force for faculty level such as Ahli Jawatankuasa Kecil Pembangunan Mahasiswa dan Alumni Fakulti Komputeran between 13 August 2017 until 12 July 2019. He has been appointed as research group leader for the Pervasive Computing Research Group (PCRG) from Sep 2022 for 6 months duration.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Besides<\/span> teaching at<\/span> UTM,<\/span> he also lecturer at UTM Space program. He has<\/span> received several<\/span> awards<\/span> in research<\/span> at<\/span> national and international levels<\/span>. He has received<\/span> research grants<\/span> from<\/span> several<\/span> agencies, including the<\/span> UTM<\/span> itself<\/span> and<\/span> the Ministry of Science<\/span>, Technology and Innovation (<\/span>MOSTI).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, carry out the project in collaboration with other research partners in Pervasive Computing Research Group (PCRG<\/strong>) and offered services (GOT<\/strong>) to anyone interested in pursuing a doctorate in any field whatsoever in computer science.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
