Dr. Juan Matmin is currently a Senior Lecturer at Department of Chemistry, UTM Johor Bahru.
His research interests focused primarily on nanomaterials from polymer engineering and advanced materials.
Dr. Juan’s research on polymer engineering had highlighted on the design of functional molecules based on supramolecular chemistry (ie, self-assembled molecules, conducting organogels, donor-acceptor) for crucial applications in the optoelectronic devices, color tunable materials, biomaterials, and chemosensors.
His works in advanced materials tackled on the green synthesis of nano-catalyst which received peer-reviewed in high impact journals.
