For instance, many classy survey calculations and tedious computations can be attempted by using automated service-oriented programs, either in web-based apps or mobile apps. Considering there are no publicly available coordinate conversion tools and apps; that comply with the Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia (DSMM) standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This study has created mCOORD<\/a> mobile app for coordinate system conversion in Malaysia. Users can easily download from the google play store and operate it using their handy gadgets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This newly developed mobile app works in two ways: firstly, it transforms a pair of defined coordinates into their relevant coordinate reference systems in Peninsular Malaysia; and secondly, it allows immediate viewing of the location in an interactive OpenStreetMap (OSM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
