About Me

I get into academia by choice. It is my own choice. However, I don’t believe in self-made man. Everything happened around me, makes me what I’m today. All I can say is that, there are elements of chance, support, trust, opportunity, and blessing that driven me forward. Thus, becoming a lecturer and researcher is my way of giving back to society. My basic survival instinct tells me that the world of academia belongs to a sustainable universe. Hence,my plan of giving back to society won’t be affected by any form of disturbance.

Though, my choice to be in academia is majorly motivated by my inner self. My family is my everything. I supposed every one of us will choose family as their driven factors. So, I won’t be elaborate more on this subject. The second thing that affected my choice is my innate humanity. I still remember a speech by Charlie Chaplin in one of his famous movies, The Great Dictator- “We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity. More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost. “I believe that university is a place where my battle for humanity nourish and valued.
