I remembered that she first approach me together with another friend of hers to pursue her dissertation. After sharing about my research work, I told them to rethink about it. Truth to be told, I did not expect that they will come back to me at all – not an easy feat to convince a student to work on nuclear theory. But she did!
I am glad that after working hard for about 3 semesters, Anita finally completed her dissertation work. Now all that is left is corrections on the manuscript. Moreover, Anita managed to secure funding for a possible doctoral study in Japan. All the best to Anita in achieving her dream of pursuing a research career in theoretical physics.
