Today I decided to work on writing my thoughts on some guidelines for writing research proposal. My main aim is to share this with my students (or someone else who might stumbled upon this website) on some issues when preparing their very first research proposal.
I will add on to the list below from time-to-time, so it is not going to take a pedagogical approach to research proposal writing. But rather on things that I find interesting or relevant as I keep on going.
I guess new final year students and postgraduates could benefit more from this, but I hope it would be beneficial to the others in one one or another. And these are my opinion which may differ from those conducting research in other fields.
