1. Knowing Who You Are
Beliefs and moral values will be essential throughout my career to have a successful career path. The values such as integrity, empathy, and continuous growth will be something that I need to hold in decision-making process in this career path.
2. Knowing What You Do
As academician, I have to have balance in terms of teaching and research throughout my career path. In my teaching journey, I have to have empathy in dealing with my students while maintaining the professionalism towards them. In my research journey, it is essential in being transparent in whatever that I am doing. I have to be fair in dealing with my research members so that a good and ambitious team could be build upon. I have to make an impactful effort to win the heart of my students and society through my teaching and research journey respectively.
3. Knowing What You Need to Learn
I will dedicate time to enroll in courses or workshops focusing on upgrading my teaching and research skills. By mastering these areas, I can be more effective in teaching and research while really emphasizing on the values such as integrity and empathy.
4. Apply What You Know
I will work with the team who have the values of growing and will make sure the whole team will hold strongly together the value of integrity and transparency. Getting the feedback and improvement is something that I need to practice in all teaching and research activities I am involved in. Every class I have to have routine reflective practices to make sure continuous improvement happen in my lectures.
