Introduction<\/strong>
\nThe growth of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) field has traversed across disciplines and technological aspects encompassing elements that are both tangible and intangible. It\u2019s hard to exclude HCI from domains of Informatics, Internet of Everywhere, Quality of Life and others, more so with diverse range of users and possibilities. Incorporating HCI and various application domains has resulted into a variety of user requirements, needs and experience, converting to ever-changing conditions. In retrospect, we explore challenges in designing diversity across different HCI domains. In line with these transformations, sustainable development goals (SDGs) have been chosen as the theme for this book.<\/p>\n

Objective<\/strong>
\nThe objective of the book is to provide HCI researchers, academicians, and practitioners with the knowledge of HCI development and practice as well as issues and challenges related to them. The book would focus on concepts, frameworks and case studies leading to better understanding of the underlying issues and cutting edge research in HCI. This will enhance awareness and decision making of scholars and practitioners to choose or suggest human-centred technological solutions for achieving sustainable development goals.<\/p>\n

Target Audience<\/strong>
\nTarget audiences are academicians, researchers, graduate students, PhD scholars, and professionals who work in the area of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Usability and User Experience. This book will form an excellent reference material for the current development and practice of HCI.<\/p>\n

Submission Procedure<\/strong>
\nResearchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before October 29, 2019, a 2-3 page chapter proposal clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors of accepted proposals will be notified by November 12, 2019 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by January 11, 2020 and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at\u00a0http:\/\/www.igi-global.com\/publish\/contributor-resources\/before-you-write\/<\/a>\u00a0prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.<\/p>\n

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, HCI Solutions for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.<\/p>\n

All proposals should be submitted through the eEditorial Discovery\u00aeTM online submission manager.<\/p>\n
