In\u00a0order to improve the process performance, a vertical finned\u00a0crystallizer was developed. This new crystallizer could provide a\u00a0higher heat transfer area for the process, hence increasing the\u00a0productivity. In this study, friction characteristics of the\u00a0crystallizer which include the calculation of friction factor and\u00a0friction loss are investigated.
