They called the programme as UTM Strategy for Recruiting and Inspiring Top-Notch Scientists and Researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is one of the strategies implemented by the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia&#8217;s Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research &amp; Innovation) to encourage UTM researchers to conduct high-impact research and produce high-quality research output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the obligations I must embrace is to serve as the faculty&#8217;s ambassadors for research and innovation, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only 14 individuals were recruited. Each of us received RM40,000 in the form of a research grant.
