But the real power of GIS often lies somewhere else: the attribute table<\/strong>. 📊<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maps show you where<\/strong> things are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attribute tables tell you what<\/strong> they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every feature in a GIS layer has a corresponding record in an attribute table. Each row represents a feature, while each column stores information about that feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
