Thus, graduates of this programme satisfy the requirement to graduate as an engineer in Mechanical Engineering as well as in the field of specialization in aeronautics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.utm.my\/admission\/international-studentsentry-requirement\/\">Entry Requirements<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The general minimum entry requirements into a Bachelor\u2019s Degree Programme are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Senior High School Certificate\/Senior Secondary School\/other equivalent pre-university qualifications from government schools (with a period of at least 12 years of study from primary to higher secondary);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General Certificate of Education (GCE) \u2018A\u2019 Level , Diploma in the related field or other equivalent pre-university examinations;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Other certificates recognized by the Senate of the University as equivalent to the above;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>AND<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Specific requirements based on programmes;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>AND<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>English Language requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>A minimum score of 500 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (or TOEFL (IBT) &gt; 59) or;<\/li>\n<li>An overall band score of 5.5 in IELTS (Academic) or;<\/li>\n<li>An overall band score of 5.5 in TEEP (UTMSPACE) or;<\/li>\n<li>An overall band score of 3 in MUET (STPM holder) or;<\/li>\n<li>Completion of ELS Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) Level 107 or higher.
