She is a senior lecturer at the Language Academy, with a PhD in Translation Studies (Applied linguistics). She has been teaching for 11 years in three different National Universities in Malaysia since 2009.
She also is a highly qualified and respected expert in the field of translation. A native Korean who is multilingual in Korean, English and Bahasa Malaysia, she had 18 years of experience as a professional translator.
Her main research interests are in the Translation Profession, Teaching Korean as a foreign language, Korean community in Malaysia, Malaysia My Second Homed (MM2H) and the Korean engineering adaptation / work-culture/ and technology localization in Malaysia.
