Attending ICC Expo 2025

Attending ICC Expo 2025 was a milestone moment for our mivieLab team, as we stepped into the heart of Malaysia’s innovation scene and showcased our project DIANA Hologram avatar and Metaverse Digital Signage. Over two energetic days, the International Connectivity Conference & Expo brought together thought leaders, technologists, startups, and enterprises to explore the frontier of connectivity, AI, IoT, cybersecurity, and more.

ICC Expo 2025 took place on 30–31 July 2025, drawing over 100 exhibitors and more than 3,000 visitors.  The event is structured not just as an expo, but a confluence of conferences, networking sessions, and curated showcases across six stages.  The focus sectors span connectivity, automation, quantum computing, AI, etc. As exhibitor, we had to balance showcasing DIANA effectively while also engaging with fellow innovators and potential collaborators. We also had the chance to showcase our inventions to our esteemed Minister of Communications, YB Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

“𝐃.𝐈.𝐀.𝐍.𝐀 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫 designed to revolutionize digital education. More than just a virtual figure, D.I.A.N.A received the Gold Award at NALI 2024, acts as an educator, advisor, ambassador, and companion, enhancing learning experiences and campus interaction. During the conference, delegates engaged with D.I.A.N.A through real-time speech-based communication—a truly immersive experience. 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 that redefines how we interact with advertisements and digital content. Unlike traditional static signage, this system enables live interaction, real-time editing, and cloud-based customization, making it ideal for marketing, presentations, and user engagement. The Metaverse digital signage was first showcased at INATEX 2024, and our researchers are also exploring monetization opportunities and web compatibility to accelerate its growth.”

Exhibiting at ICC Expo 2025 was both exhilarating and humbling. The chance to place DIANA in front of discerning industry players, receive unfiltered feedback, and forge new connections made every bit of preparation worthwhile.
