A sharing session by Prof. Muhammad Ramlee Kamarudin, a senior lecturer from Faculty of Electrical, UTM. The sharing session was held on 2 February 2017, where the title was “Ways for improving your H-index and citations”. Basically, the h–index is an author-level metric that attempts to measure both the productivity and citation impact of the publications of a scientist or scholar. The index is based on the set of the scientist’s most cited papers and the number of citations that they have received in other publications.
At the moment, he received 17 h-index for his total 200++ publications which among the highest in UTM. Congratulations to Prof. Ramlee. So I have attended the talk and learned something new ways on how to improve my H-index. The key point is “to get the paper published in high impact factor journal”. =)
