3MT and Famelab Seminar 2018
Thanks to Postgraduate Student Society (PGSS), Faculty of Biosciences and Medical Engineering for conducting a such special event on 6th March 2018. The event entitled Seminar on Three-Minute Thesis Competition and FameLab has attracted more than 60 participants on that day. A great sharing by two prominent speakers from UTM, Dr. Jaysuman Pusppanthan for 3MT thesis and Dr. Zaid Omar for the FameLab. The former one, Dr. Jay has won 1st place for the 3MT thesis competition in the national level as well as the 1st place for the Falling Wall competition in Malaysia. He represent Malaysia for both 3MT and Falling Wall competition at the international level in Australia and Germany, respectively, last year. The second speaker was Dr Zaid Omar has won the 1st place for the FameLab at national level. Thanks to the speakers who sharing their experiences on how to deliver knowledge wisely during competition. Hope this sharing can encourage all students and staffs to join the competition.

This is my class of Statics and Dynamics. Initially, I teach 2 sections but afterwards I only cover for Section 1. Very enjoyable class. Thanks all students. All the best for the final exam.
ADVANCE e-LEARNING@UTM COURSE
I attended this course for a better improvement in handling e-learning system on 6th February 2018. This course introduces the instructor to a few advance facilities for teaching and learning provided in the Moodle course management system (CMS). Instructor will be guided to produce variety of asessment in accordance with their respective disciplines using quiz. They will also being guided to create a collaborative learning activity using WIKI. Upon completion of the course the instructor will have the knowledge on how to use feedback in Moodle to collect further information and reflection from students for Continuous Quality Improvement report.
Meeting with Hospital Sultan Ismail, JB
A fruitful meeting with the Head of Rehabilitation Department, Dr Sharon from Hospital Sultan Ismail, JB and her team. We are four from UTM visited the department and discussed a possible research collaboration between UTM and HSI. In Sha Allah for the sake of patients.

FBME Strategic Planning 2018
17th January 2018
FBME strategic planning 2018 was held to ensure all tasks will be on track.
Research collaboration with MSNJ
On 3rd January 2018, a team from SITC visited training centre of archery in Skudai. The archery team is actually from Majlis Sukan Negeri Johor (MSNJ) will be competed in SUKMA2018. From the meeting, some ideas were obtained to further research on how to help the athletes in improving their skills.
