HTC \u2014 which has been teasing its own virtual reality headset for almost a year \u2014 has really delivered with its updated version of the Vive<\/a>, a called the Vive Pre. I got a chance to experience the new Vive at a demo at CES 2016, and it\u2019s extremely compelling. Although the level of sophistication isn\u2019t appreciably different from Oculus, HTC has introduced a couple of important conveniences that make all the difference.<\/p>\n

First things first: The struggling HTC is pinning a lot of hopes to the Vive, is a fully immersive VR system.
