Spokane airport is closed after an airplane slid off a taxiway early Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

At approximately 6 a.m. local time, a United Airlines 737 plane slid off the taxiway and into a snowbank. No injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n

There were 175 people onboard the aircraft, Todd Woodard, director of public relations at Spokane Airport, told Mashable<\/em>Flight 812<\/a>, bound for Denver, was in a holding area when it slid in the icy conditions.<\/p>\n

“The aircraft was on a taxiway when it hit some slippery conditions that caused the nose wheel to flip off,” Karen May, spokesperson for United Airlines told Mashable<\/em>. “Passengers are being transferred off the plane and we are in the process of making arrangements for them to fly out later in the day.” Read more…<\/a><\/p>\n
