Twitter is said to be testing a new product that let’s users share up to 10,000 characters at a time, potentially moving beyond the 140 character limit that has defined the social network since it launched a decade ago, according to a report<\/a> Tuesday from Re\/code<\/p>\n

The current plan is reportedly to show just the first 140 characters in the news feed and then allow readers to click to expand the tweet and see the other 9,860 remaining characters. The new option may launch later this quarter<\/p>\n
