On Tuesday morning, President Barack Obama announced new executive actions<\/a> on gun control in front of an audience that included victims of gun violence as well as proponents of gun control, including comedian Amy Schumer.<\/p>\n

While plenty of celebrities have joined the cause, for Schumer, it’s personal. In July, an armed man entered a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana<\/a> during a screening of Schumer’s film Trainwreck<\/em> and opened fire, killing two people and injuring several more<\/p>\n
