The Vatican’s newspaper has hit out against this week’s Charlie Hebdo<\/em> cover for portraying God as a blood-stained terrorist<\/a> with a gun and the headline “The assassin is still at large.”<\/p>\n

The Osservatore Romano<\/em> said the artwork, on the front of a 32-page issue produced by artists and staffers of the satirical magazine a year after gunmen stormed the office killing nearly a dozen people, disrespected all faiths.<\/p>\n
