A video released Thursday featuring Israeli and Palestinian couples kissing each other is at the center of a debate about censorship \u2014 both online and in high school classrooms.<\/p>\n

The video, published by Time Out Tel Aviv<\/em><\/a>, was made in response to the Israeli education ministry’s decision to remove Dorit Rabinyan\u2019s Borderlife <\/em>\u2014 a book detailing the forbidden love between a Jewish woman and an Arab man \u2014 from reading lists in high schools. The disqualification of the book incited anger among students, professors and liberal politicians, many of whom claimed it constituted censorship, according to the Israeli news site Haaretz<\/em><\/a>.
