Recently, I wrote that the 2016 Mazda Miata<\/a> was all about connecting with the road. But, if I’m honest, the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is, too.<\/p>\n

If the Miata is connecting with the road, it does so in a familial, gentle way, like how your grandmother envelopes you in a big, soft and warm hug. The way the 4C Spider connects you to the road is like how a brain surgeon’s drill connects with your skull \u2014 in a fast, loud and brutal way.<\/p>\n

That isn’t to say it’s bad, though; it’s quite the opposite, really. However, where you’d just need to be a driving enthusiast to enjoy the Miata, you’ll need to be both a driving enthusiast and<\/em> an insane person to enjoy the Alfa. Thankfully, I am both those things. Read more…<\/a><\/p>\n
