Just when you thought a great stadium sausage was as good as it gets, here comes a wiener topped with actual golden flakes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This sausage comes courtesy of Centerplate<\/a>, the food service provider who will be handling the concessions at this year’s Super Bowl, held at Levi’s Stadium.<\/p>\n

This upper-crust sausage was developed by chefs\u00a0Santana Diaz and Dinari Brown. It is composed of a custom blend of 50 ingredients (there’s pork in there so this isn’t your standard Hebrew National frankfurter), served on a poppy seed bun with\u00a0saut\u00e9ed bell peppers and topped with \u2014 yes, that’s right \u2014 flakes of actual gold.
