Spring has sprung at China\u2019s Chaya Mountain as 10 different types of tulips bloom across a farm creating abstract formations reminiscent of a pointillist painting.<\/p>\n

The majority of floral farms in China, according to Daxue Consulting<\/a>, are small and consist of family members unlike larger farms like Holland \u2014 known as one of the biggest flower producers in the world. A recent report from the Economist<\/a> valued China\u2019s stake in the global flower market at around 4%. Exporting flowers to Europe or America is costly so over two-thirds are sold in Asia<\/p>\n
