Though Ludwik the hairless guinea pig<\/a> lives an Instagram-worthy life of leisure, he hasn’t always had it this good.<\/p>\n

When his owner Agata Nowacka first adopted the little pink rodent from a local pet store, he was suffering from a fungal infection, pneumonia and conjunctivitis, The Dodo<\/a><\/i> reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But after six months of care, 1-year-old Ludwik \u2014 who lives in Poland with his mother \u2014 plumped up to cuter proportions, and made a name for himself online. His Instagram account boasts 42.9k followers, with good reason:<\/p>\n
