After years of murmurs and rumours, cult Australian electronic band The Avalanches will be playing their first show in 15 years at Byron Bay’s Splendour In The Grass in July.<\/p>\n

The shock announcement, which follows insane excitement over the outfit’s Facebook cover photo change yesterday<\/a>, also comes with dates at the Primevera Sound Festival in Barcelona on Jun. 3 and Field Day in London on Jun. 12.\u00a0<\/p>\n
