UPDATE: April 13, 2016, 11:49 p.m. EST:\u00a0<\/b>Twitter came back online in some parts of the world momentarily after an outage lasting more than one hour. People were relieved to be able to finally discuss the horror on the platform itself. Then it died again.<\/i><\/p>\n

Twitter has gone down in parts of the world due to a “technical difficulty.”<\/p>\n

The social media giant went down at 10:40 p.m. EST on WednesdayMashable<\/i> confirmed the outage is affecting parts of Australia, Asia, Europe and America. It may also be affecting other regions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
