The baker from Knoxville, Tennessee tells Mashable <\/i>she brainstormed the idea of a starry galaxy cake after falling in love with photographic images from the Hubble Telescope. Baird shares:<\/p>\n

“Before I fell in love with baking, I was an aspiring artist,” Baird told us over email. “For years I worked in art galleries with artists of every stripe: painters, sculptors, glass blowers and textile artists.
