INDIO, California \u2014 When Kesha surprised everyone during Zedd’s set Saturday night at Coachella, it was much more than just a performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Singing “True Colors” \u2014 a song about staying true to yourself with lyrics like “I’ll show you my, my true colors\/ No, no, no, no I won’t apologize for the fire in my eyes”\u00a0\u2014 she was making a statement: No matter what the outcome of her lawsuit with Dr. Luke<\/a>, she won’t apologize.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She didn’t speak to the crowd, but really, she didn’t have to.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Two weeks ago, Kesha posted a message on Instagram <\/a>saying that she refused to take back her allegations against Dr. Luke, whom she has accused of rape as well as verbal and emotional abuse over their decade-long working relationship.
