An investigation was launched on Sunday by China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection on the Changzhou Foreign Language School in Jiangsu, China, after almost 500 students fell ill with a range of illnesses as serious as cancer.<\/p>\n

Of the 641 students examined by doctors, 493 of them were diagnosed with several diseases.<\/p>\n

According to China Daily<\/i>, the pollution-related illnesses<\/a> include dermatitis, eczema, blood abnormalities and leukemia \u2014 a type of cancer.<\/p>\n
