Google launched a series of five doodles on Friday, featuring beautiful depictions of the planet’s five biomes.<\/p>\n

Artist\u00a0Sophie Diao<\/a>, one of Google’s in-house “doodlers”\u00a0created the series to mark the 46th annual Earth Day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“The vastness of Earth\u2019s diversity makes it an intimidating topic, but in the end I chose to highlight Earth\u2019s five major biomes: the tundra, forest, grasslands, desert, and coral reefs,” Diao wrote in a blog post for Google<\/a>. “In each illustration, you\u2019ll find one animal who\u2019s been singled out for their 15 minutes of fame.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
