The second weekend of Coachella is very clearly becoming a Prince party.<\/p>\n

The festival kicked off on Friday, just a day after the music icon died at the age of 57<\/a>, and artists in Indio, California, honored him with performances of some of his most beloved hits.<\/p>\n

According to Billboard<\/a>,<\/i> LCD Soundsystem, Mavis Staples, Joey Bada$$, and Sufjan Stevens and Gallant all paid tribute with either full covers or brief teases. Jack U paid tribute with a montage at the end of their set.<\/p>\n
