Radiohead’s new song “Daydreaming” \u2014 which dropped Friday with an eerie, Paul Thomas Anderson-directed video \u2014 is a very, very slow build.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Beginning with a minimal piano riff, Thom Yorke’s voice doesn’t come in until around 1:20. Tortured vocals appear the 2-minute mark, and half a minute later is when the tempo finally starts the quicken. Ominous strings show up 5 minutes in.\u00a0<\/p>\n
