It’s been a slow awakening, but Australia’s technology industry may finally be starting to realise it’s been missing half the population.<\/p>\n

On Monday, a website<\/a>\u00a0called\u00a0“No thanks, mate”\u00a0launched, complete with the pledges of seven men \u2014 regulars on Australia’s technology and business speaking circuit \u2014 who will no longer participate in panels that don’t feature a single woman.<\/p>\n

Five of the signatories, Adam Fraser, Jason Fox, Dan Gregory, Matt Church and Darren Hill, have already taken a stand on the issue, speaking with Fairfax Media<\/i><\/a><\/i>\u00a0in early May about their decision to boycott panels that don’t actively promote equality.
