This is getting out of control.<\/p>\n

Ev Williams, the cofounder and former CEO of Twitter, appears to have had his Twitter account compromised briefly on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

A group by the name of OurMine \u2014 the same group that claimed credit for compromising Mark Zuckerberg’s social media accounts<\/a>\u00a0this weekend \u2014\u00a0took credit for hacking Williams’ account in a tweet, which was deleted minutes later.<\/span><\/p>\n

Williams did not immediately respond to request for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Twitter said it does not comment on individual accounts, but noted in a statement:\u00a0“<\/span>A number of other online services have seen millions of passwords stolen in the past several weeks.
