Stevie \u2014 a blind rescue cat \u2014 just so happens to be an expert hiker.<\/p>\n

On April 26, Stevie \u2014 along with her human, Patrick Corr<\/a>,\u00a0and his\u00a0<\/span>twin brother, Eoghan\u00a0\u2014 decided to\u00a0make a difference by\u00a0climbing Ireland’s highest mountain to raise money for\u00a0<\/span>local animal shelters.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Corr’s recent blog post for <\/span>Bored Panda<\/a>, <\/span>he adopted Stevie from a local shelter in Cork, Ireland about four years ago. Ever since, the two have wanted to “give back to the people who\u00a0<\/span>make it their life\u2019s work to helping animals in need.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Corr, along with his brother and Stevie the cat decided to go on a sponsored hike up\u00a0<\/span>Carrauntoohil \u2014 a 3,406-foot mountain in County Kerry, Ireland \u2014\u00a0<\/span>to raise money for local animal shelters in their area.<\/span> Read more…<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
