An anonymous bidder has committed to paying\u00a0$3,456,789 for a lunch with the “Oracle of Omaha” and investor extraordinaire Warren Buffett.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The bidder can bring up to six friends to meet the legendary philanthropist, who is regarded as one of the most successful investors in the world.\u00a0<\/span>The meal was auctioned off on eBay, and will be held at <\/span>Smith & Wollensky<\/a>, a steakhouse in New York City.<\/span><\/p>\n

The proceeds from the auction will benefit Glide<\/a>, a charity dedicated to helping the homeless and poor in San Francisco. This is the 17th year in a row that Mr. Buffett has donated his time to the organization, and the second year that the winning bid was over $3.4 million.
