A vigil for slain British MP Jo Cox has been held at her constituency town of Birstall, a short walk from the spot where she was fatally shot and stabbed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

People from different ages, cultures and religious backgrounds took part in the packed ceremony at St. Peter’s Church on Kirkgate.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Among the 400 participants were Labour MPs Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves, Dan Jarvis and Caroline Flint.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Flowers were laid close to the place where Cox was attacked.\u00a0<\/p>\n
