Tens of thousands of people flooded the streets of London Saturday in protest of the UK’s vote to leave the European Union.<\/span><\/p>\n

The country’s economic and social prospects may have been troubled as they marched from\u00a0<\/span>Hyde Park to Parliament<\/span>, but the puns were still numerous. “We want EU back,” “I can’t live, if living is without EU” and “I will always loves EU” were just a few of the signs on display with a strong streak of gallows humour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mark Thomas, a comedian and protest organiser, said the UK should not commit to a Brexit based on the Leave organisers’ distortions of the facts. “We would accept the result of the referendum if it was fought on a level playing field.
