LOS ANGELES \u2014 Superhero reboot The Tick <\/em>is headed to Amazon as part of its fall comedy pilot season.<\/p>\n

The show \u2014 a co-production with Sony Pictures Television \u2014 follows the costumed Tick in a spoof of comic book superheroes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ben Edlund, who created the comic book character as well as the 2001 Fox comedy and 1994 animation series, is signed on as writer and executive producerWally Pfister<\/a> (The Dark Knight<\/em>) serves as director.<\/p>\n

The Tick<\/em> stars Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em>), Griffin Newman (Vinyl<\/em>), Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen<\/em>), Valorie Curry (House of Lies<\/em>), Yara Martinez (Jane the Virgin<\/em>) and Brendan Hines (Scorpion<\/em>). Read more…<\/a><\/p>\n
