The world of Pok\u00e9mon Go <\/em>got political in Asia this week.<\/p>\n

On the day the worldwide hit game finally came to Japan<\/a> (which is incidentally the home of Pok\u00e9mon)<\/em>, players in China started using GPS spoofers to take over Japanese gyms, according to a post on Reddit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The move has been described on the site as a “patriotic movement” on the side of China between two countries that have often<\/a> been at odds with each other.<\/p>\n
